The Verdon rises at 2819 m on the Col d’Allos and joins the Durance at<\/strong> Vinon sur Verdon<\/a>. Its total length is 175 km. But the most sensational thing about it is the height of the cliffs, which vary from 250 to 700 m, the width from 6 to 100 m and from 200 to 1500 m at the top of the gorges. <\/p>\n\n\n
