Lake Sainte-Croix: a jewel in the heart of Provence

Lake Sainte-Croix lies between the departments of Var and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in the Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon.

Covering an area of 22 km², it is an artificial lake fed by the Verdon river. The lake originates by flowing below the Galetas bridge, which also marks the boundary of the above-mentioned departments.
